Other Refractive Options

At Waxhaw Family Vision Care OD, PLLC, our optometrists offer pre- and post-operative care for patients having LASIK, cataract, and other eye surgeries.  LASIK, a form of refractive surgery, is an option for vision correction without needing to wear glasses or contact lenses. Simply put, LASIK reshapes the cornea with a laser. Recently, other surgical alternatives for vision correction have also become available.  At Waxhaw Family Vision Care OD, PLLC our optometrists can provide evaluations and referrals to respected local surgeons for those interested in refractive and cataract surgery.  We also provide post-operative care for these patients as needed.
